February 2019 Cohort Details

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with UCSF Health. As an update, our February Volunteer Onboarding Cohort has been filled, and we are unable to accommodate additional registrations at this time. We will be re-opening our volunteer registration again on Monday, June 3rd.

Weeks 1 & 2: February 11- 22

  • Attend one Group Interview: Volunteers must attend one of the following 90-minute group interview:*interviews are not available outside of these dates.*Pre-registration is required 
  • Sign up for Group Interview by 4:00pm on Thursday, February 7th
  • If your interview has been accepted, finalize Application by Midnight on Friday February 22nd.

Weeks 5 & 6: March 11- 22

  • Complete Background Check Form by 4:00pm Friday, March 15.
  • UCSF Occupational Health Services begins contacting volunteers to schedule health clearance appointments.

* All new volunteers will be asked to provide copies of the required immunization records in person to Occupational Health Services or receive their immunizations through Occupational Health Service in order to receive a final health clearance. 

 

 

 

 

Week 3: February 25-March 1

  • Receive UCSF network ID and begin taking on-line classes
  • Start gathering copies of your immunization records (a list of health requirements can be found here).

Options:

  •  If you would prefer to complete the health requirements through our Occupational Health Department, UCSF will cover the cost of the immunizations. 
  • You may choose to complete your immunization requirements through your own healthcare provider (UCSF cannot reimburse you for these services). 

 

Weeks 7, 8 & 9: March 25- April 12

 

  •  Volunteer health appointments and Follow-up appointments

 

 

Week 4: March 4- March 8

  •  Complete on-line classes by 4:00pm on Friday, March  8th
  • Make an appointment with your provider to gather immunization requirements

Week 10: April 15- April 19 

  • Coordinators will contact volunteers for placement
